The story.
We make mistakes all the time. Everybody does. But somewhere along the way, a lot of us learned to be scared of them, like one wrong move says something about who we are. I see it the other way. Mistakes make you great.
This piece is about being a student of life. Think about a student with a pencil. They don't sit there waiting for the perfect answer before they write anything down. They get to it. They write, they erase, they try again. The page gets messy, and that's where the learning is.
If the pencil breaks, you don't quit the assignment. You get another pencil and keep writing. That's how I try to move. Keep making mistakes, keep learning from them, keep going, and you will be great.
When you make a mistake, it means you tried. You put yourself out there and moved, while a lot of people are still waiting for the perfect moment.
Why I made it
I made this for anyone who's been holding back because they're scared to get it wrong. Pencil, pen, get to it. The mistakes are part of the work, and the work is what makes you great.
Mistakes are proof you did something. While others wait.
