Lesson 07 · The Reflection Collection
Dance
Movement creates emotion.
A reminder to let joy move you.
The story.
I learned to dance when I was young, through Punjabi culture. Bhangra, everything like that. Before I ever thought about what dance meant, I just felt it. The drum hits and your body already knows what to do.
That's the thing about movement. Movement creates emotion. You can walk in heavy, carrying the whole day on your shoulders, and a few minutes of moving your body changes how you feel. You don't have to think your way there. You move your way there.
For me, dance has always been one of the funnest ways to express myself. Some things are hard to say out loud, but you can still dance them. Joy, gratitude, energy, even the stuff you're working through. It all comes out in the movement.
And it spreads. When one person starts dancing for real, without worrying about who's watching, it pulls everybody else in. That's what I love most about it.
Why I made it
I made this piece to spread joy. I hope it reminds you to stop overthinking it, put the music on, and move. Let yourself feel something, and let the people around you feel it too.
Spreading joy, dancing, movement.
Thank you.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
