Spells or blessings.
A reminder that what you say out loud shapes the life you live.
The story.
Words are very powerful. I really believe they're spells or blessings. Every time you speak, you're putting something out into the world, about yourself, about other people, about what's possible.
Think about how you talk to yourself. “I'm not good at this.” “I always mess this up.” Say it enough and you start living it. Flip it, and the same thing happens in the other direction. The words you repeat become the way you walk.
That's why you have to be cautious of the words other people around you are using too. The people you spend time with are speaking over your life every day. Some are speaking blessings. Some don't even realize they're casting spells. Pay attention to which is which.
There's a proverb from the Bible you can relate it to.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
Proverbs 18:21
Why I made it
Lead your life with your words. Speak about yourself and the people you love the way you want things to turn out. I hope this piece reminds you, every time you put it on, that what you say carries weight.
